The solution of the Chastia FM software system is strictly modular. It comprises the core of the program, universal modules, and specialised modules for various activities. This conception ensures the ability of the program to be enhanced with the lowest possible costs for customisation of program functions for individual customers and for the future planned development of new modules.

Core

The core of the program ensures basic system tools for the entire software system, e.g.:

synchronisation of all modules with one another, whereby each module is completely independent of the other ones,
system of navigation in a project (looking up and filtering of information...),
user management and their access rights to a project,
management of database queries,
management of reports (printouts, colour classifications, charts, drawing configuration),
standard components (database table, text editor, graphic editor, picture editor, chart editor, report editor, formula editor, drawing configurations viewer, selection window, dial window, picture window, note window, time filter...),
components for displaying information on the selected IS object,
user interface functions,
etc.

Modules

Modules are independent parts of the program for resolution of a specific sphere of activity. They are developed independently of each other; there is even the possibility of development of modules by the customer himself. At the same time, the modular system enables customisation of the solution to the customer's needs.

The modularity of the software system enables the customer to build the graphic information system gradually, as the situation requires.

Modules can be divided into universal and specialised:

The universal modules solve the basic record-keeping of property and are independent of the specialised modules. On the other hand, they provide basic functionality and support for the specialised modules. Such universal modules are – Basic module, Graphics, Catalogues, and Documents.
The specialised modules – each of them solves a specific field of administration activities. At the moment, there are Property, Surfaces and spaces, Energy and services, Administration of property and renting, and Human resources modules available. At the present time, other modules are being prepared, about which you will be informed on time.

A great advantage of the Chastia FM software system is its open architecture, which enables specialised modules to be programmed also by an independent developer. The system even allows tight interconnection with external applications, when such an application acts as one of the modules of the Chastia FM system.
