Basic module

The basic module forms the main pillar of the whole system. It is the only module that is mandatory for building up a free corporate application. It contains several subsystems that provide its functionality.

Information system objects

An information system object (IS object) is every object, construction part, device, intangible property, etc. that is subject to monitoring of an information system. An IS object must have a unique record in the basic record-keeping table of information system objects. It follows that it must be assigned a unique identification number, valid in all modules of the Chastia software system.

Record-keeping of information system objects (IS objects)
Each IS object can be described by its properties, which can be freely user-defined for every type of IS object. Besides descriptive data (passport), a picture or a note can be attached to an object. Common properties of IS objects can be catalogued. A catalogue item is attached to an IS object.

Structures
IS objects can be logically arranged into hierarchical structures. The number of these structures is unlimited. Typical structures can, for instance, be space structure, organisational structure, technological structure, etc. Every IS object can be simultaneously categorised in various structures at once.

Professional categorisation
A special case of structure is the so called professional categorisation into professions, groups and types of facilities. Rules of IS object behaviour in the entire Chastia FM software system are determined according to types of facilities.

All these structures serve for fast searching of IS objects, their localisation within the structures, filtering, sorting, etc. One of the possibilities of their use can also be, for instance, crisis management.

Dials

Part of the basic module is a variety of standard dials and user-defined dials, which are used in the majority of other modules.

Business partners

It keeps records of all business partners of a company, especially suppliers, customers, renters, etc., and contacts to individual persons in these firms (contacts). Business partners are also registered historically.
